Garden: Week 6

It seems during our long weekend in Arizona, the garden (and weeds) exploded!
The garden from afar.  Come take a tour...
 Nasturtiums
 Carrots
 Tomatoes
 Nutterbutter squash and more nasturtiums
 Strawberries
Corn with nasturtiums growing in front and a lot of weeds and grass :(
Lettuce
Lettuce, spinach...and a gopher mound.  He found where we ran out of mesh.
 Zucchini plants are growing big
 Blueberries are still blooming
The first blooms are now growing fruit
Pink Lady has buds swelling, she should be blooming soon.  She is the last of the fruit trees to bloom but she likes it hotter than the rest.
Red Fuji is having a second round of blooms.
First Red Fuji fruit beginning to grow.
The Dorsett Golden is full of apples.  I really do need to thin this tree but it pains me to remove fruit.
The fruit are packed in like this all over the Dorsett Golden.
Red Baron peaches are growing in nicely
I can't believe all the fruit on this Babcock Peach
 Pluots are coming along
And even the plum has fruit.  How exciting!!
The kiwi vine seems to like the new spot.  We need to get the structure up soon, this vine is growing much faster than I expected.
The citrus are doing well also.  Last year the mandarin was dormant.  I'm glad to see blossoms and fruit growing this year.
Out front, the nectaplum is still blooming but fruit is starting to form!  I can not wait, yum!
Elena and I harvested the spinach before the gopher got to it.  We enjoyed a green smoothie and steamed up some for dinner.  Elena loved eating it raw and steamed.  This had to be the best spinach I have ever tasted.  I will be planting more pronto :)
And our first strawberry.
