This is a train ride through A Bug's Life. Look how tall the clovers grew!
Heimlich was so hungry he ate through an apple, watermelon...
...animal crackers and candy corn. Can you see Elena licking her lip?
Charlie slept through the ride.
Being silly
Charlie awake and having fun
One part of the park was set up in the 1800's with the gold and timber trades and a trading post. This area has an adventure course--animal tracking, rope bridge, rope swing. climbing wall and redwood slides amongst other things.

I did it!! (redwood log slide)
The ferris wheel was the longest line we waited in but absolutely worth it. Look at that grin :)

Luigi's flying tires...floating with daddy!
We had a great day though a bit busier than we were expecting. We started the day off with the Disney Junior show, both kids loved it. It is set in Mickey's clubhouse preparing for Minnie's birthday with Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates integrated into the show. We also saw the very boisterous Aladdin musical. Our day concluded with Cars ride. By the way, Carsland is so cute! It was closed during our time spot so we nearly missed it but we swung by one last time before leaving and luckily it was fixed and open. This ride totally rocked, it would have been sad to miss it. Charlie was too small to ride so Carl and I took turns with Elena. You load into cars and race another car through the painted desert. She loved it except for the beginning dark part, she thought it was scary and told me to shut my eyes :)
All in all, we had an awesome time celebrating Elena's birthday with hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream, shows, rides and characters.

Another great day!
