DuPage Children's Museum

When it's windy, cold, gloomy and rainy outside, what do you do with a 5 year old?

We went to the DuPage Children's Museum to explore and learn.

Using glow sticks, Elena made a rocket.
 A rocket complete with fire.
Concentrating on the flow of energy.
Creating energy.  As she peddled, the lights lit up.
 Under the water table :)
Creating new water flow with pvc pipe
 Playing with bubbles
Elena loves bubbles!  See how awesome this is: http://youtu.be/qqizIzaoLAU
There were even some corners set up for Charlie.
 My little noise maker.
They even had wood working!  At first Elena was skeptical, they had REAL tools.
Grandma helped and no fingers were injured.
 Drilling for her final design.
Explain that her toy had eyes that twist.
She finished off her museum time with some air blowing balls, silks and her tummy!  She had a great time, if you couldn't tell :)
