Happy Halloween from our family to yours!
Today we (mostly Carl) carved pumpkins to set on our front porch for the evening.
Elena took the seeds out of her pumpkin one at a time and set them on the table.
Except for the couple she tasted.
Daddy always knows how to make me smile!
After dinner, Pop and Grandma Lorraine came over for trick-or-treat time. The boys stayed at the house while us girls set out about the neighborhood.
On the run!
Elena learned quickly. By the end of our walk, Elena was knocking on the door, attempting "trick or treat", "thank you" and "bye-bye". A few lucky neighbors also heard a "moo".

I love that our neighbor gave pretzels shaped as bats and pumpkins.
Now it's Elena's turn to answer the door and hand out candy. She did well and when there were no kids, she said "oh-no".
See, I can handle the bowl of candy...can I eat some??
This was awesome, I loved her costume (i think i mentioned that once or twice via facebook) Looks like it was a fun night :)
