I titled the last post "Personality" primarily because the pictures showed off some of Elena's personality but her personality is blooming. She is interacting with other kids at play dates and even insists their cups are hers as she says "miiiiiine" in a gremlin-like voice. She learned this from them, so I guess it's fitting she's starting to give it back to them.
In other personality news, Elena is beginning to throw tantrums. I know people say the terrible twos really start at 18 months, but I was really hoping Elena would reach this stage late, as I'm sure that is the hope of most parents with toddlers.
Even with the added tantrums, Elena is still a beautiful little girl full of light. She loves running around as you can see from the images I captured today. Just a few minutes of fresh air does Elena's tantrums wonders.
I just love these plaid shorts. They are too cute!
