I'm learning that just before Charlie masters a new skill, he sleeps poorly the night before it happens. Last night he was up every 2 hours like clockwork for 12 hours. I'm exhausted. And today...well...he is getting ready to crawl.
Step 1: Smile at Mommy and look cute.
Step 2: Fly like a plane.
Step 3: Push up arms, shoulders, head and bend knees.
Step 4: Pull tummy up and push backwards.
Step 5: Repeat.
He did this routine over and over. Charlie can move backwards this way. He also muscles out movement (sideways, forward and backwards) better and better every day. He is sure to be crawling soon...a little too soon for this mama.
