Tiny Toes in the Sand

 Today is the first time Charlie explored the beach.  He loved having his toes in the sand and didn't mind when the wave came crashing upon him.

 A beach day is not complete without a drippy sand castle city.  Austin (my cousin) joined us on our beach adventure.

 I really, really liked eating the sand :)

 And sucking on my fingers while they were covered in sand.

Upon leaving the beach, we swung up Mount Soledad to give Austin some bearings and beautiful sights to see.  While we were enjoying the view, we spotted rainbow clouds.  This is a rare event and it was beyond amazing.  Elena said maybe it was a ma raj (such a smarty pants).  The colors were so vivid, difficult to catch on a camera phone.
