Amazing that all this has happened over the past 3 weeks.
In the past couple of days, we have received about 2 inches of rain. This is phenomenal for this time of year. Usually the "wet" season ends in March. To be in the middle of May is amazing. I only wish the rain would have spread itself out a little more. Weather forecasters say we are entering a wet el nino and are predicting more rain again on Friday. Guess we'll see. I'd love to not water the garden. We collected a few gallons of water with buckets, the baby bath tub and the wheel barrel...we hope to get gutters and rain barrels installed before too long.
The cherry/grape tomato plant is thriving and looking great. Lots of blossoms on this guy.
Can you believe how fast these bell peppers are growing? And more flowers are getting ready to bloom!
And the zucchini! I was hoping to train them up but it looks like they have other plans to take over the garden :)
The green been plants looking quite sad. They had perked up before the rain but now just look shriveled and sad. Hopefully they will bounce back. We love fresh grown green beans! I've planted a few more seeds where seeds never popped up, maybe they will have a better chance.

Looking good!
