The gophers have and continue to cause destruction in our yard. He dug under the patio causing the pavers to sink. While Carl was pulling them up to fix the area, Elena found an earthworm.
She was so pleased with herself. She pet it, gave it a tour around and took really good care of it. Elena was sad when it was time to let the earthworm go home.
Our first year of fruit trees and the apples have bloomed very late. It's lovely to watch but I don't think these will ripen before the cold/frost arrives. Hopefully the apple trees will bloom in the upcoming spring.
