Pretty pumpkins all carved up and ready for Halloween!
I'm sure this is the first and last costume the kids will be able to share. Aren't they cute? Can you tell which two pictures are Elena and which two pictures are Charlie?

Meg with the Rainbow Princess. Elena was going to be Tinkerbell but changed her mind and insisted on being a ghost after we were already in Illinois. So I cut up a sheet but she wouldn't have any of it. Elena is particular about clothing. So the afternoon before going out to trick-or-treat, she decided to be a rainbow princess. She is dressed up in rainbows, borrowed a tiara-like headband from Kailah and carried around a glow-in-the-dark wand. So far this is how the last few Halloween costumes have come together.
