A Memorable Day: Our Wedding

On July 28, 2008, Carl and I invited family and friends to celebrate with us as we exchanged wedding vows. The day was spectacular. We married at Seagrove Park in Del Mar, California overlooking the ocean.

A bagpiper provided the music for our ceremony. Mingled with the ocean, the sound of the pipes was spectacular.

And the paparazzi made an appearance! Actually it was the Coast Guard running drills. The helicopter dropped divers into the ocean. An aspect of the wedding never to be forgotten.

Our reception was held at Tom Ham's Lighthouse, a family owned restaurant that was once a working lighthouse and is now a historical site. Here we are on the patio overlooking the bay. We enjoyed the day tremendously and have so many wonderful memories.
