Air and Space Museum

Some of the San Diego museums offer free admission on Tuesdays to residents.  Amazing I have been in San Diego so long and have never taken up this offer.  The museums rotate by the week.  Looking for something to do, Elena and I headed down to the Air and Space Museum.  It is a smallish museum but we had a great time.  A good place for a couple of hours.
 Space suits!
Elena took this photo of me and Charlie.  Budding photographer :)
 Several moon rocks were displayed.
The atrium had planes and a helicopter hanging from the ceiling.  Elena loved when planes were hanging from the ceiling.  We even saw one "flying" upside down.

Looking into the cockpit.  So many dials and buttons!
As we left the Air and Space Museum, we passed the Automobile Museum.  We popped in there, not a great place for Elena--too many old things she wants to touch.  However, there is a small display of old Harley Davidson motorcycles.  This one is for you, Papa Rick!
